Ace Arcadia

Ace Arcadia is an action-oriented TTRPG which includes a JRPG setting in the style of Chrono Chross, Final Fantasy, and Megaman Legends; but is suitable for any setting that involves adventure. Its innovative Action Dice system allows for quick and impactful moves in combat while still being easy to pick up and play.

A World of Adventure
Ace Arcadia takes place on the world of Cleia where most kingdoms have sheltered themselves in city-states to focus inward, leaving the frontier ripe for monsters and the mighty Enkratia demigods to pillage and conquer. Adventurers known as Aces take on the jobs that others can't or won't in order to protect the world and take power back from those who abuse it.

The world of Cleia is a fantasy setting, but enjoys many comforts of modern technology. Swords and rifles live comfortably side by side when powered by magic. Aces refill on supplies and snacks at the local corner store before heading out in an all-terrain camper van; or find their way to the port to see the world from above in an airship. Adventure awaits!  

Hard Hitting and Easy to Learn
After creating a character you will gather your dice into an Action Dice Pool. Refreshing at the beginning of each of your turns, this collection of dice is how you interact with the world. Sneaking around? Roll up to your skill rank. Keeping watch? Pick an action die to ante up which turns down each time you see something, serving as both your ability to spot things and a measure of your effort. 

Attacking, Blocking, Moving; all these elements are decided by spending the dice you see in front of you. You decide how to spend them!

An Arsenal of Choices
Your Ace is not limited by just one weapon. Choose the one that works for the job at hand! Each weapon has its own attacks, critical hits, and effects that allow you to experiment with how your Ace fights. Devote your Ace to one weapon by making its strengths and weaknesses your own, or stay flexible and let the weapon compliment what you do best!
